This new service requires registration. If you would like to use this service, please apply by coming into the Practice and bringing two forms of I.D, for example, your latest utility bill and Driving Licence or Passport. We cannot issue any access details without proof of identity. This is an important form of security, preventing others booking appointments or requesting prescriptions in your name. For confidentiality reasons, please note that we cannot issue access details by post or allow individuals to register for internet access for someone else. It is also not possible to register children under the age of 16 for internet access.
Emis Access will you give the facility to send repeat medication requests to the Surgery. We require up to 3 working days to process requests, however if you request medication not on your repeat list it may take longer. We expect that the majority of prescriptions will be ready for collection in 48 hours but please allow enough time to request your medications before you run out.
Your Responsibility
The Practice will take every precaution to ensure that your Emis Access application form is secure. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Emis Access account remains secure. You are able to terminate or reset your Emis Account at any time by contacting the Surgery in writing. You may wish to do this if you think someone else knows your logging in details, or if you have shared details with a family member or partner and now longer wish them to know these details.
Once you have registered, you will be given a unique PIN number and access code, you can then start to use the system.
